NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS Chief Guest and Conference Inauguration Speaker We are pleased to announce that Arogyaswami Paulraj, Professor Emeritus, Stanford University, USA will be IEEE ANTS 2020 Chief Guest and Conference Inauguration Speaker. Paulraj is an Emeritus Professor at Stanford University. He is the inventor and a pioneer of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) wireless technology, the key to all modern wireless networks. He has authored over 400 research publications, several text books and a co-inventor in 80 US patents. He founded three technology companies in the US which were later acquired by Intel, Broadcom and Hewlett Packard Enterprises. His recognitions include the Friendship Award from Govt. of PR China, US Govt. National Inventors Hall of Fame, the Padma Bhushan from Govt. of India, the Marconi Prize and the IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal. He is a fellow of several National Academies in Arts, Eng. and Sciences in the US, China, and Europe. Paulraj served in Indian Navy for 25 years where he developed ASW Sonar Technology and set up new Govt. RD labs CDAC (DEITY), CAIR (DRDO) and CRL (BEL/ MoD).
